Into the Woods…again
I’m so excited to take the stage again as Rapunzel’s Prince in the Virginia Samford Theatre’s production of Into the Woods by Stephen Sondheim! This is going to be an all-star cast of Birmingham talent and marks my third time I’ve had the pleasure of performing this piece (previously Cinderella’s Prince in high school and Jack in college…I’ll have to dig up pictures).
What’s even cooler? I get to share the stage with my own kid who is playing Jack! This is a gift and something I am and will cherish forever.
Into the Woods masterfully balances hilarious characters, a beautiful and complex score, and a poignant script to produce a totally different look at the fairy tale stories we know and love. More to come, but I hope you all get to experience this show! It’s really one that you won’t want to miss!
